I have just finished up my second freelance website and i'm excited about how much i'm learning in the medium. I really enjoy the process of designing the website, and then bringing it to life in html.
Im happy right now. I can sit down and eat a meal separate from my computer. Today I went to the Nelson with my family and checked out their new 75th Anniversary Exhibit. I go to sleep when i'm tired. I worked on some freelance projects this week and i enjoyed designing them. I'm happy right now.
I had an amazing summer where i was also happy everyday. I was in a beautiful place inside (amazing studio) and outside. ( The ocean, mountains and desert all around me.) I was refreshed and recharged to begin my Senior year at this amazing, intense, fun, and stressful school.
But it's because of the stress and intensity of this program i have become the designer i am today and i am thankful for it. It has given me a great sense of accomplishment over the years and im stunned with all i have achieved through all the challenges and struggles that come with putting yourself through college.
Again, I feel refreshed and recharged to start this last leg of my college career. (!!!!!) I want to end on a high note, a note i feel like my whole education at KCAI has been and i think, with actually taking a break, i am set up to do so.
for my portfolio website i will initially present my projects in this format, with a horizontal narrow crop. My goal is to intrigue the view to look at the individual projects, as well as create a keep their interest through how all my projects look together. This does not include all the projects that will be in my final portfolio, but it's a good sampling.
This is my process blog spanning the three years I have spent in the Kansas City Art Institute's Graphic Design Program. Check out what i'm doing now, or take a look back at what I was doing a few years ago.
